Never lose an important email again

Archive, hold and recover

Encrypted archive

Messages are stored encrypted and searchable by authorised staff.

Retention policies

Keep mail for as long as policy or law requires, then remove it automatically.

Legal holds

Freeze selected mail so nothing, including retention clean-up, can delete it.

Recovery Desk

The person who asks for recovery cannot be the one who approves it.

Time-limited access

Approvals open a time window and close it automatically.

Recovery modes

Choose strict (approval needed), direct (admin can restore) or off, per customer.

Data protection controls (DLP page)

Choose how long archived mail is kept for your organisation. Mail under legal hold is never touched.

Search the archive

Find messages by sender, recipient, date and subject.

Every access logged

Who searched, opened or recovered what is written to the audit trail.

Four eyes on every recovery

Recovering mail is powerful, so it is protected. A request names the mailbox and reason, a second person approves, and the access expires on its own.

  • Requester and approver are different people
  • Reason is mandatory and recorded
  • Strict, direct or off per customer

Archive and recovery questions

Can I stop the archive from deleting mail under a legal case?

Yes. A legal hold freezes the selected mail until you lift it, whatever the retention policy says.

Who can read archived mail?

Only staff whose role includes the right permission, and every access is recorded.

What does the DLP page do?

It lets an organisation shorten its archive retention within the limit of its plan. If a change would remove existing mail immediately, you must confirm first, and mail under legal hold is never removed.
